Two of the three men suspected of launching the terrorist attack in London on Saturday have been named. British police have released the names and photos of Khuram Shazad Butt and Rachid Redouane, reports the Metropolitan Police UK.
Both men are from Barking, east London. 27-year-old Butt is a native of Pakistan. 30-year-old Redouane has claimed to be Moroccan and Libyan.
Authorities are seeking help from the public on these men, including where they frequented before the attack.
“I would urge anyone with information about these men, their movements in the days and hours before the attack and the places they frequented to come forward," shared Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley.
The two men, along with a third, rammed people on the London Bridge and stabbed numerous people in the Borough Market area of London on Saturday. Seven victims were killed and 48 were taken to the hospital. All three men were shot and killed by police during the incident.
ISIS has taken responsibility for the attack. The Telegraph says the third man was not a British citizen.
