On Sunday night authorities issued a missing child alert for 9-year-old Sebastian Meachum, who was last seen near a house that burned down Sunday morning. According to WFTVone adult body was found in the house fire in Malabar, Florida on Sunday.  Investigators were able to identify that person, and issued an alert for Sebastian whose whereabouts were unknown.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement believe that Sebastian lived in the home with Tony and Chrissy Hughes before it burned down. At the time authorities thought the boy was with the couple and they may have absconded by boat and urged the public to contact authorities—but not approach the couple—if they are spotted.

The Orlando Sentinel says that Chrissy is the boy's mother and Tony is his stepfather. Both adults are 39 years old.

In the last hours, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced that a second body located in the home that was burned down is believed to be Sebastian.  An official identification of the boy is pending autopsy.
