A heavily tattooed Hanover, PA mother was arrested after she placed her two toddlers in the trunk of a friend’s muscle car. Jessica Marie Reger, 29, faces two misdemeanor counts of endangering the welfare of children and recklessly endangering another person after she placed her 3-year-old and 5-year-old in her friend Ilena Blackburn’s Corvette. Local police put an end to the woman’s dangerous joy ride blocks from Reger’s house when a witness called 911 after seeing the children placed inside the small, lightless, enclosure better suited for spare tires and groceries.
“Fear-Less” read the tattoos on Jessica Reger’s fingers, clearly visible in her mug shot, along with large neck tattoos and a wide toothy, if not unattractive, smile. She is currently being held in the York County jail, where she was taken after being unable to post the $2,500 bail. For her part in the crime, Ilena Blackburn was served with a summons relating to her charges: two misdemeanor counts of recklessly endangering another person and two traffic offenses for lacking proper child restraint systems.
