Authorities in Belleville, New Jersey are on the lookout for a masked man behind a frightening home invasion. The burglar in question wears a hat and mask, resembling the character "Zorro."

According to PIX11the masked suspect (who is still at large) slipped in through an open side door of a home around 4:00am on Friday. A mother was sleeping with her two young children. The intruder dragged her and attacked her.

“She feels a presence, she turns over. Sees a man standing there, wearing the fedora style hat, and the slight mask over his eyes. He covers her mouth, and drags her off the futon,” said Belleville Detective Sgt. John McAloon. The suspect was scared away when the woman’s six-year old son woke up, screamed and ran to get his grandfather.

The victim worked with police to create a sketch of the suspect's appearance. The police sketch shows a man in a Fedora and Zorro mask.
