A Texas man posted a series of cryptic, disturbing Facebook messages and allegedly spent nearly half a day at a local bar bar hours before he was found shot to death with four other family members, including his wife and 15-month old baby girl.

Deputies were called to a home in Polk County Monday morning where they found five gunshot victims, according to the Polk County Sheriff’s Department. The dead have been identified as Ashley Delaney, 27, her 15-month old daughter Ranley, and her grandparents, Carlos Delaney, 74, and Lynda Delaney, 72. Randy Horn, Ashley's 54-year-old husband and father to Ranley, was also dead.

There was also a lone survivor who locked herself in the bathroom of the home, Polk County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Byron Lyons said at a press conference held on Monday. He described her as the mother of one of the victims and she's been further identified by multiple outlets as Ashley’s mother.

Lyons said that the bodies of Carlos Delaney and Randy Horn were found inside the home and the rest were found dead outside.

“This is a horrible, horrific scene and a horrible, horrific crime,” he said.

Lyons wouldn't use the term murder-suicide at this time, pending the medical examiner's findings, but did say that "no arrests have been made, nor at this point are we looking for any suspects. We want the community to know they are safe."

Staff at Players bar in Porter, Texas told KTRK in Houston that Horn spent about 10 hours at their location the day before the deadly shootings.

“To the bartenders, he was quiet more than usual, but I think they just thought that was more of he didn't drink as much as he usually does," an unidentified staff member told that outlet.

Staff said Horn had three alcoholic beverages between 1:30 p.m. until 10 p.m.  He left, but came back around midnight for a fourth drink.

At some point that night, Horn made a disturbing post on his Facebook which appears to show blood on a floor.

“And this is why i can't be out in the bars at night....blood on the floor!” he wrote.

One day earlier, he wrote another chilling statement: ‘It's time to pay up for all the bad Decisions you made in life...never bet your life on someone because you never know....” In that post there was a gif with the message "never trust anyone."

Lyons said he is aware of the post with the apparently bloody floor and said that officials are investigating the timeline of the murders.
