Earlier this week, actress Kristina Cohen posted a Facebook status accusing actor Ed Westwick (best known for his role on Gossip Girl) of raping her. Now, a second woman has come forward with rape allegations against Westwick.
Former actress Aurélie Wynn, who previously went by the stage name Aurelie Marie Cao (she has since pursued other careers), has also taken to social media to accuse Westwick of rape. In a post on Facebook, Wynn claims that after being raped, her boyfriend broke up with her (he did not believe her narrative).
"I said no and he pushed me face down and was powerless under his weight," she says. "I was wearing a one piece bathing suit that he ripped, I was in complete shock, I am also very tiny."
"I kept quiet and soon got to see and hear how prevalent sexual assault and intimidation goes on in this industry...to the point where I questioned how much I really wanted to be in entertainment as I didn't see it getting better," she continues. "And at what cost?"
Wynn concluded her note by thanking Cohen for her bravery in coming forward with her accusation.
Deadline attempted to contact Westwick's rep’s office at Affirmative Entertainment, who hung up immediately upon hearing who was calling. Subsequent calls went to voicemail.
Westwick has denied the first accusation in a statement on social media: “I have never forced myself in any manner, on any woman. I certainly have never committed rape.” He has not yet made a comment addressing the second accusation.
