A car shooting that killed a 2-year-old boy was captured on Facebook Live, CBS Chicago reported, potentially aiding police as they search for his killer. This is only the latest example of a wide trend of violence livestreaming on social media

The video shows a driver and two passengers, including 2-year-old Lavontay White, listening to music as they drive through Chicago. Three minutes into the video, another car pulls up to them and a shooter gets out and begins firing at the car.

The 2-year-old boy was shot in the head, dying at the hospital. In the front seats, a 26-year-old man—reportedly a gang member—died at the scene, while his pregnant girlfriend, 20, and her unborn child survived the gunfire, despite injuries to her abdomen, according to the Evening Standard.

“We believe this was a targeted shooting,” said Chicago Police Superintendent Eddie Johnson to CBS Chicago. “So, these people were looking for him.”

Police say they have good leads in the case, though no has has been arrested in the slaying at this time.
