Justin Bieber may be shedding his baby brat image, but his legal problems continue. He might be charged with assault now that a man he allegedly punched eight months ago filed a police report against the pop star.
Bieber allegedly stole the sunglasses of 34-year-old Ohio man Rodney Cannon. He and his bodyguard then allegedly punched him after a Cleveland Cavaliers playoff game, according to the Associated Press. Cannon claimed that he had to wrestle Bieber to the ground to break free.
TMZ published a video of the tussle, and later reported that Cannon claimed Bieber started the fight after Cannon asked the singer for his autograph.
Bieber and his publicist have not commented on the report. But if Bieber gets arrested in the incident, it won’t be his first time in handcuffs. Previously he had been charged with:
- Assaulting his driver
- Vandalizing a neighbor’s house by throwing eggs at it
- Resisting arrest and drunk driving after being caught drag racing
- Recklessly driving an ATV
- Assaulting the driver of the SUV he drove his ATV into
So he’s used to this kind of thing.
