Three men have been apprehended for the rape of a teenage girl using the mobile app Kik. According to People, the FBI shares that the 14-year-old girl from Indiana was reported missing on Friday and found four days later in Ohio via a “social media investigation."
Eric Ho, 25, is charged with rape and 27-year-old Bryan Otero is charged with one count of complicity to rape. Ian Smith Buti, 20, has been arrested on federal child pornography charges.
Authorities allege that Buti met the teen girl on the app Kik. He allegedly picked up the girl at her home on April 27 after they met in a chat room, per ABC 7. He left her at a house with Ho and Otero, where she was later found. Buti tried to flee but authorities caught him in Kansas.
Detective Mullis of the Union Township police tells People that the victim was found in the bedroom with Ho and “appeared scared and confused.” She was taken to the hospital for evaluation and then returned to her parents.
