An Australian woman called the police - yes, the police - to complain about her weed dealer raising prices on her.
The Facebook page for the Northern Territory Police, Fire and Emergency Services posted yesterday, “A woman called police to complain about the price of marijuana in her community, reporting that her local drug dealer had asked for more money than the usual. Completely offended, the woman demanded that police investigate this ‘outrageous’ price hike.”
When police asked the woman for further details, the woman reportedly hung up on them. Obviously concerned about the people they serve, police have asked users to let them know about marijuana price gouging in Australia’s Northern Territory.
“If you know a drug dealer who is ripping you off, give us a call,” says the Facebook post, “We’d love to help.”
The post has of course become a viral sensation, having been shared over 13,000 times and garnering 10,500 comments.
