Authorities Investigating After Topless Photo Of Kellyanne Conway’s Teen Daughter Apparently Posted On Twitter

Police confirmed to Oxygen.com that the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office is looking into the incident.

An investigation is underway in New Jersey after a topless photo of Kellyanne Conway’s teen daughter Claudia was apparently posted to the former Trump advisor’s Twitter account this week.

The Twitter account for the former senior counselor to the president apparently posted a nude photo of 16-year-old Claudia Conway to Fleets, Twitter’s version of ephemeral stories, on Monday. It was quickly deleted — but not before it was viewed by several people who reported it to Twitter, BuzzFeed News reports.

“Apparently that’s real and here’s what I guess happened,” the teen told her followers on TikTok, in a now-deleted post that has been saved and uploaded to Twitter by other users. “The picture’s from months ago and I’m assuming that when my mom took my phone — any time she’s taken it because she takes it all the time — she took a picture of that, so that was on her phone.”

The teenager went on to theorize that her mother could have accidentally posted the image or was possibly hacked. She added that she is taking a social media break to work on mending her relationship with her family.

“But nobody would ever have any photo like that ever,” she said. “So, Kellyanne, you’re going to f–king jail.”

Later, she took to TikTok again, stating that she believes her mother was indeed hacked.

Chris Belcolle, the chief of police for the Alpine Police Department, told Oxygen.com via email on Tuesday that the photo is being looked into by local officials.

“An investigation is being conducted by the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office,” he stated. “No additional information can be released.”

The New York Post reported that four officers spent an hour at the Conways’ Alpine home on Tuesday for an hour before leaving.

Elizabeth Rebein with the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office told Oxygen.com via email that "the matter has been referred to our office and each member of the Conway family has been fully cooperative throughout the investigation."

A spokesperson for the New Jersey Department of Children and Families told BuzzFeed News that they are “looking into all the concerns around the incident.”

Claudia Conway has recently claimed that representatives from the department have been to their New Jersey home multiple times but that nothing came of their investigations, BuzzFeed News reports.

The teenager has become known for criticizing her mother’s politics online, particularly to her audience on TikTok. Followers have repeatedly expressed concern over her well-being after she featured videos in which she and her mother are seen fighting. In August 2020 she tweeted that she was “officially pushing for emancipation,” then later clarified on the platform that this was “because of years of childhood trauma and abuse,” and not her mother’s job and connection to former President Donald Trump.

It was around the same time that Kellyanne Conway announced that she was exiting her post at the White House to focus on her family.
