Actor From 'Grease' Films Arrested For Burglary, Trespassing At Maryland Nursing Home

Eddie Deezen, best known for playing Eugene Felsnic in both “Grease” films, has been accused of several bizarre incidents in the past year, including writing lengthy, offensive posts about a waitress who was working at a restaurant in his Maryland hometown.

A character actor from the 1976 film “Grease” has been arrested after Maryland authorities say he forced his way into a local nursing home.

Eddie Deezen, 65, was arrested on Friday for pushing his way into an Allegheny County residence facility and refusing to leave, according to a statement from the Maryland State Police e-mailed to Oxygen.com. As first reported by TMZ, the North Bel Air Drive property Deezen is accused of trying to break into is a privately-owned nursing home.

Police say troopers with the Cumberland Barrack responded to the premises following complaints of a trespasser shortly before 9:40 p.m.

As noted in their preliminary investigation, Deezen had been told to stay away from the property about two hours before someone called the authorities. Instead, he returned, made “an unwanted entry” and refused to leave the grounds.

“According to a preliminary investigation, a female opened the door, and Deezen pushed his way inside,” said police. “She advised Deezen made unwanted entry into the residence and almost made it into one of the residence’s rooms before they were able to get him to exit the residence.”

The complainant told police Deezen went outside, where ‘No trespassing’ signs were marked.

People at the residence further alleged that Friday wasn’t the first time Deezen caused a disturbance at the home.

“The victim stated that there have been several issues with Deezen leaving items at the residence and various types of notes with the items,” said police.

A man at the facility also stated that Deezen was asked to leave the property at around 2:00 p.m. that same day.

Deezen — best known for his role as "nerd" Eugene Felsnic in both “Grease” films — has been the subject of previous allegations of various disturbances in the area, according to TMZ.

In June 2021, a waitress took to social media and Tweeted a bizarre rant written by Deezen, who complained (at length) that she wasn’t wearing her fake eyelashes one day at a Maryland restaurant he frequented.

“She was 100% aware that I loved looking at her in the false eyelashes, and she always would wear them on Wednesdays — that became our day,” Deezen allegedly wrote on Facebook. “That said, I think there is a time and place for everything, and I believe every once in a while, men or women can just look at a member of the opposite sex and as a sexual being."

In his post, Deezen claimed he’d leave the waitress — whom he referred to as “eye candy” and “a knockout” — little notes to tell her how beautiful she was when wearing her false lashes.

Deezen also posed a rhetorical question to women reading the post, asking how they might feel if the shoe was on the other foot.

“OK, for any woman. Let’s say you were in a restaurant and there was a waiter who looked like Brad Pitt, or George Clooney, or Ryan Gosling,” Deezen posted. “Now, let’s say this same waiter came out one day looking slovenly, unkempt, dirty looking. You would be disappointed, right?”

Deezen asked readers whether he should write the waitress a letter of explanation before asking women about the mechanics of false eyelashes in an attempt to figure out why the waitress didn’t wear them all the time.

The waitress who Tweeted the missive wasn’t impressed.

“Eddie Deezen is a f-----g CREEP who comes into my work at least once a week, calls and asks other servers for my schedule, and if he comes in and I’m not wearing makeup, HE LEAVES,” the waitress posted.

Deezen responded with another lengthy post in which he called the waitress an “attention whore” and accused her of cyberbullying him, before stating his intent to get a restraining order against the waitress. (There is no evidence that he was granted such an order.)

In another 2021 incident, Deezen was arrested for assault after allegedly refusing to leave a LaVale, Maryland restaurant, TMZ reported. When deputies arrived, Deezen allegedly hid behind a woman in a booth and started chucking plates and dishes at authorities.

Authorities had to forcibly remove Deezen from the premises. They arrested him for second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, and trespassing.

It is unclear if the first restaurant incident was connected to the second.

On Friday, police transported Deezen to the Maryland State Police Cumberland Barrack, where he is currently charged with fourth-degree burglary, two counts of trespassing and one count of disturbing the peace, according to their statement. Jail records don’t indicate when Deezen is scheduled to appear in court.
