The woman who gained internet fame for creating the “Sonichu” character has been arrested in Virginia after being accused of participating in incest with her elderly mother.

Christine Weston Chandler, 39, also known as “Sonichu” creator Chris-Chan, was arrested Sunday in Virginia on an incest charge, according to a press release from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

One day earlier, investigators “received information involving sex crimes against a family member,” according to the press release.

Allegedly leaked audio of Chandler has been making the rounds on the internet, in which she appears to discuss her sexual relationship with her mother. She claimed that it began with a kiss and that it took a few tries before the sex "felt right." She apparently said they began engaging in sexual activity regularly in June.

In the clip, Chandler allegedly claimed that she is honest with her mother that she has no intentions to propose marriage to her mom, who is reportedly 79 years old.

"There is drama in the air today," Chandler tweeted on Friday. "Each and every one of you all are encouraged to withdraw from any and all dramas, gossip, rumors, and whatever else will, and already has, approached your way today."

The internet personality and artist has more than 50,000 subscribers on YouTube. She is most notably known for creating “Sonichu” a character that merges likenesses of both Pokémon‘s Pikachu and Sonic the Hedgehog.

During her arrest, she reportedly stated, "I am compliant, I am good like this. I am Chris Chan Sonichu, your Goddess Blue Heart and I continue to stand strong and I maintain everything with my CWCville, Sonichu and Rosechu and everybody," KVIA reports

Her comments were reportedly streamed live on "The Ralph Retort,'' an alt-right show.

It’s not clear if Chandler has a lawyer. She is being held without bond.
