Los Angeles Police may have recovered surveillance footage from a downtown apartment building where Heidi Planck’s dog was found wandering alone just hours after the 39-year-old mom disappeared, according to multiple news reports.

Planck was last seen Oct. 17 on the 7800 block of Gardendale Street in Downey, according to a statement from police.

Her ex-husband, Jim Wayne, told NBC’s “Dateline” that she appeared on edge when she left their 10-year-old son’s football game at halftime.

“She was a little bit antsy, yes. I don’t know why,” he said. “All I know is that was the last time I saw her talked to her.”

Wayne reported her missing several days later on Oct. 20, after she failed to pick up their son from school.

He said police conducted a welfare check at her home and found her phone and laptops but no sign of her. Even more troubling, there was a text message on her phone from a woman who had discovered her dog—who was chipped—wandering around the 28th floor of a downtown apartment building alone just three hours after Planck disappeared.

Wayne wasn’t sure how the dog got into the building, which he described as having extensive security.

Although Wayne had said the building’s owners “weren’t being very collaborative” with police, the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division confirmed to Fox News on Thursday that they had obtained surveillance camera footage from the building after they served the owners with a warrant. The development was also reported by KCBS-TV.

Yet, when Oxygen.com contacted police Friday morning, a spokesperson for the department said they were “unable to confirm that information” and said it had not been provided by detectives.

The spokesperson declined to provide any additional details about the case, citing the “ongoing investigation.”

Wayne told “Dateline” he is hoping to find his missing ex-wife, who he shares 50/50 custody with, so that she can be reunited with their young son.

“She’s a devoted mother who would never, ever leave her son,” he said. “We have a 10-year-old boy at home that’s looking for his mom and we just need to find her.”

While speaking with KCBS-TV, Wayne urged anyone with information about the case, to come forward with what they know.

“People don’t just disappear,” he said.

As the days since Planck was last seen continue to grow, friends have been blanketing the city with flyers about the missing mom.

“I just want to know where my friend is,” friend Danielle Nadolny told “Dateline.” “We all need her home safe.”

A prayer vigil is planned for the missing mom on Sunday in downtown Los Angeles at Flower Street and West 12th Street, local station KTLA reports.

Police described Planck as being 5’3” and weighing 120 lbs. She has blonde hair, blue eyes and was last seen wearing jeans and a grey sweater. She had been driving a 2017 Grey Range Rover with the California license plate “U840X0.”

Anyone with information about her case, is urged to contact police.
