Lori Harvey, the stepdaughter of TV host Steve Harvey, was arrested over the weekend for an alleged hit-and-run.

Officers with the Beverly Hills Police Department responded to a report of a sedan hitting an empty parked car around 10 p.m. on Sunday, a spokesperson with the department told Entertainment Tonight. The driver of the sedan had left the scene by the time police arrived, but Harvey was identified as the driver of the car, according to the outlet.

A witness to the single-car collision, which took place on Moreno Drive, allegedly saw Harvey leaving the scene of the accident, and police detained her a short distance away, the Beverly Hills Police Department told PEOPLE. No injuries were reported, but Harvey’s car was reportedly flipped onto its side near where the unoccupied parked car was struck.

Harvey was not booked, but instead received a citation for misdemeanor hit and run and one for obstructing/delaying a police officer, Entertainment Tonight reports. She is slated to appear in court on Jan. 21, 2020.

Harvey, 22, was driving a Mercedes SUV at the time of the collision, according to OK!, who was the first to report the news.

Authorities have said that alcohol did not play a role in the crash, TMZ reports. However, unnamed sources told the outlet that witnesses reported to police that they’d seen Harvey texting behind the wheel before she allegedly slammed into a Prius.

Harvey, a model, was linked to famous rapper and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs, 49, over the summer, with the two having been photographed out together wearing coordinated outfits, according to E! News. However, what unnamed sources referred to as a “fling” has since come to an end, the outlet reports.
