Prosecutors Reveal That OnlyFans Model Charged With Boyfriend's Murder Earned $3M On Website
Courtney Clenney also allegedly threatened to murder boyfriend Christian Obumseli in a cellphone video about a month before his death. It's expected to be introduced as evidence in a bond hearing.
An OnlyFans model charged with the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend has earned $3 million from the webcam site since 2020, according to prosecutors.
Miami-Dade Assistant State Attorney Khalil Quinan revealed the income amount in a motion arguing that Courtney Clenney – known as Courtney Tailor on social media – is a flight risk and should be denied bond.
A bond hearing concluded on Tuesday without a decision and resumes Thursday, according to multiple media outlets.
Prosecutors said in the motion that Clenney is in “a profession she can maintain abroad if she flees the country, an act she can certainly afford financially. The defendant furthermore has the means of making a quick escape and financially sustaining herself abroad,” according to the Miami Herald.

She earned $1,806,003 in 2021 and $966,692 in 2020, from OnlyFans, prosecutors wrote, citing her tax returns, according to the New York Post.
The motion also describes “suspicious” wire transfers including $1,184,000 to her father’s bank account after her boyfriend Christian Obumseli’s death, both the Herald and the Post reported.
Clenney earned more than $327,000 from January 1 to August 11 – more than $40,000 of that was earned after Obumseli died, according to prosecutors.
Her attorneys pushed back against claims that she was a possible flight risk, noting that she had purchased a home in Texas and created “ties to the community there,” Sabrina Puglisi told the Miami Herald. “We don’t think she’s going to flee.”
As previously reported by Oxygen.com, Clenney was in a substance abuse treatment facility in Hawaii when she was arrested in August. Her attorneys want her released on bond and placed under house arrest so she can resume treatment, the Miami Herald reported.
Clenney, 26, is charged with the second-degree murder with a deadly weapon in the death of Obumseli, 27, in her high-rise Miami-area apartment on April 3.
Her attorneys argue that Clenney killed Obumseli in self-defense, as evidenced by bruising on her body, but prosecutors maintain that he was a victim of domestic abuse. Friends described the couple’s nearly two-year relationship as combustible with frequent arguments and violence.
“We have not avoided the fact that this was a mutually abusive relationship. The issue is whether the defendant’s conduct in stabbing and killing Christian was justified," Quinan said, according to WPLG. “So, the bruising the defense is going to try and suggest is the result of a struggle is something that did not exist.”
Clenney, who has more than 2 million Instagram followers, became emotional during the hearing when prosecutors played the 911 calls she made after Obumseli’s death, WPLG reported.
Prosecutors also introduced new video evidence of Clenney’s previous domestic violence arrest in Las Vegas, the station reported. Clenney allegedly threw a glass at Obumseli and was charged with a misdemeanor battery in July of last year.
“I’m actually [expletive] not having a good day where I actually, literally, [expletive] want to kill you, but you don’t take me seriously,” Clenney said in a recording obtained by WSVN.
“Christian was always trying to calm the situation down and the defendant is always unable to control herself and hurt him,” Miami Police Detective Yermaine Briceno testified during the bond hearing, according to WPLG.
Clenney’s attorney, Frank Prieto, questioned the detective about the couple’s alleged drug use, according to WSVN.
“There’s some text messages talking about Christian using cocaine with Courtney,” Prieto asked.
The detective reportedly replied, “Yes.”
He also questioned him about the couple’s physical altercations.
“You do have some evidence, right, throughout the course of the investigation that, at minimum, Obumseli also hit Courtney at least once, that you’re aware of,” Prieto said.
“From what I was told, yeah,” the detective replied.
The video from the Las Vegas incident is expected to be introduced into evidence when the bond hearing resumes on Thursday.
