No Signs Of Missing Princeton University Student Who Mysteriously Vanished From Campus

Police are looking for Princeton University student Misrach Ewunetie, who “has not been in touch with her family or friends in several days,” school officials said.

Authorities are desperately trying to locate an Ohio woman and Princeton University student who vanished over the weekend.

Misrach Ewunetie, 20, was reported missing on Monday. She was last seen around 3 a.m. near the New Jersey University’s campus Scully Hall dorm, according to Princeton University’s Department of Public Safety. 

Investigators didn’t disclose who reported Ewunetie missing.

On Wednesday, Princeton University officials confirmed to Oxygen.com that search efforts for Ewunetie were still underway as police deployed a helicopter, drones and a watercraft to scour areas on and surrounding school's campus to try to find any trace of the 20-year-old student.

“The Department of Public Safety is seeking information on the whereabouts of an undergraduate student, Misrach Ewunetie, who has been reported missing,” Princeton University said in a statement posted to Twitter.

A mobile alert was also sent to the university’s community pleading for any information related to Ewunetie’s disappearance, according to ABC News.

Ewunetie “has not been in touch with her family or friends in several days,” New College West Dean Anne Caswell-Klein also said in a separate email to the campus community, according to The Daily Princetonian.

Authorities haven’t yet specified whether they suspect foul play in the Ewunetie's disappearance.

Ewunetie, who was an undergraduate student at the Ivy League school, was expected to graduate in 2024, university officials stated. She’s a member of the school’s residential college New College West chapter. 

Ewunetie is originally from Northeast Ohio, according to officials. She attended Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School in Cleveland, Fox affiliate WJW reported.

Ewunetie is described as five-feet, four inches tall. She weighs approximately 130 pounds and has brown eyes, black hair and light brown complexion.
