A former middle school teacher’s assistant and her friend in California preyed on teenage boys and bragged about being “sexual deviants” who were going to hell, authorities told Oxygen.com

Talia Sisco, of Saratoga, and Tina Pourani, of San Jose, were arrested June 14.

Police began investigating them after a tipster notified authorities in April of the alleged sexual contact with youngsters, according to Sgt. Richard Glennon of the Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office.

“Based on the evidence we received, they actually described each other as 'sexual deviants,' and they even said they were going to hell for their actions,” Glennon told Oxygen.com.

Sisco and Pourani, both 24, were best friends since high school. Their bond was so strong that they decided to both pursue sexual relationships with boys from a local high school after meeting them through friends and family, according to the San Jose Mercury News.

Sisco at the time was a teacher’s assistant at Bernal Intermediate School in San Jose, but officials said they do not believe any of the victims were students at the school. She was let go from her job once school officials became aware of the investigation, police said.

A representative of the Oak Grove School district did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Police identified three teenage boys whom Pourani and Sisco allegedly targeted between January 1 and April 7 this year. Police did not detail the alleged sexual encounters.

Based on correspondence between the two women, police believe there could be at least one more victim whose identity is unknown to investigators. They are are asking anyone with more information to speak with police.

“The protection of our children is always a top priority for our agency. I am grateful these predators were brought to justice. If there are other victims still out there, please come forward,” Santa Clara County Sheriff Laurie Smith said in a statement.

The charges against Sisco include multiple counts of oral copulation of a minor, multiple counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and arranging a meeting with a minor to commit a sex offense. Pourani was booked on charges of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and oral copulation of a minor, but prosecutors have not officially charged her, according to a spokesman for the Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office.

Pourani was released on $60,000 bail, and Sisco was initially held without bail before being released June 18 on $70,000 bail, prosecutors said.

A lawyer for Sisco did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Sisco is due in court July 25.
