The man caught on camera punching two women in the face during a tantrum over hot dog prices has turned himself into police.

On Tuesday, the Los Angeles Police Department tweeted out a video of the altercation in question and asked the public for help identifying the culprit.

By Wednesday, police announced that Arka Sangbarani Oroojian turned himself in the same day that the footage was released.

Oroojian has been booked for assault with a deadly weapon and his bail has been set at $90,000.

“We thank the community for their help in spreading the message,” police said.

The shocking video shows a group of people congregating on a busy street. The suspect appears to kick one of the two female victims. She crumbles to the ground before the other woman approaches the man in her defense. He appears to swing at her and then at the other woman as she gets up off the ground. The video shows him punch both of them in their faces before running off.

The two women reportedly overheard the suspect arguing with a hot dog vendor over the $6 price of one of the dogs, according to Los Angeles’ Fox 11.

The women told Fox11 that another vendor offered the man a free hot dog, but he remained fuming.

That’s when they began arguing with the man, they said. One of the victims reportedly told him to leave, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Both women had to be taken to a nearby hospital. They have not been identified and it's unclear what condition they are in.
