Cat burglar? More like dog burglar.

A Florida man allegedly snatched a family’s dog after burglarizing their home and setting it on fire.

Alleged pet snatcher Austin Lang, 19, has been charged with three counts of burglary, possession of a controlled substance and arson in the first degree, Tampa Bay Times.

He is accused of setting fire to a family home in Seminole owned by Lance Klipper, 52. Police and firemen were called to the home Tuesday afternoon to extinguish a small fire in a laundry room, which police later determined to be arson, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. There was some minor property damage, although nobody was injured.

But the home had been ransacked and Bailey, the family’s beloved dog, was missing. It's unclear what was stolen.

Detectives got ahold of surveillance video that showed Lang allegedly knocking on the front door of the home before going around the back. About an hour later, he can be seen allegedly dragging suitcases and bags down the home’s driveway.

Police caught up with Lang, whom they said admitted to the burglary and the fire. They retrieved the stolen items and Bailey, who was not harmed. It’s unclear why Lang targeted the home and set the fire. Police believe he may be behind other burglaries in the area.

Lang is being held on $92,000 bail.
