An Ohio man is accused of beating his uncle to death after a disagreement over a game of pool turned deadly.

Cameron Goodrich, 34, was arrested on Tuesday following a fatal physical altercation with his uncle, 59-year-old Dino Goodrich, according to authorties. Police believe a fight broke out following an argument that resulted from a game of billiards played earlier in the evening at the Gahanna, Ohio home where they both live. The brawl escalated as Cameron allegedly grabbed a baseball bat and struck Dino repeatedly.

Police were called to the home at 11:49 p.m. where they found Dino unresponsive on the garage floor, according to a Facebook post from the Gahanna Division of Police

CPR was performed on Dino immediately. He was then transported to a hospital and was pronounced dead at 12:38 a.m. on Wednesday, less than an hour after the 911 call was placed, according to Fox 28 of Columbus, Ohio.

Franklin Goodrich, the suspect's grandfather who witnessed the skirmish, described the scene to investigators, according to The Columbus Dispatch. Cameron later confessed to bashing his uncle in the skull, according to a criminal complaint.

The Franklin County Coroner's Office will determine an official cause of death, according to WBNS of Columbus, Ohio.

The case is being investigated as a possible homicide.

Cameron is being held at the Franklin County Jail.
