Man Found Mysteriously Beaten And Unconscious While Attending Strip Club Bachelor Party

Brandon Lyons' family believes somebody at the strip club knows something about the alleged assault, but the club denies that anyone was beaten on its grounds at all.

A man is in a coma after being severely beaten while attending a bachelor party for his cousin, and now his family is searching for answers about what happened inside the strip club bathroom where he was allegedly found unconscious.

Brandon Lyons, 30, was attacked during a party held at Bouzouki Gentleman's Club in the Greektown area of Detroit on October 20, according to WJBK in Detroit. Lyons went to the bathroom during the party and never came out. His friends apparently eventually realized he was missing, but it was too late.

"[His friend] ran down the street where the party bus was, couldn't find him anywhere. [He] called his phone a couple times - his cell phone - and then the cops answered and said 'we're in the back, we have him. We're getting in the ambulance,'" the victim’s girlfriend, Courtney Felt, told WJBK.

It's unclear what happened to Lyons. Lyons’ family believes that he was assaulted by someone at the strip club and that someone there is holding back information. A representative from the strip club told WJBK that nobody was beaten up at the establishment and declined to comment further.

Felt said her boyfriend has suffered immense head trauma. He is still in a coma two weeks after the attack.

“He has no other injuries than his head. He's had multiple brain bleeds, he had to have half of his skull removed. He's still not awake," Felt explained.

No arrests have been made in the attack and police do not appear to have any suspects.

Felt said it will be a long road ahead for Lyons.

"They said it's going to be a one to two-year recovery and he's going to go to rehab after this. It's just sad," Felt told WJBK.
