A North Carolina woman has won a revenge porn lawsuit against her ex-husband and his new girlfriend, both in the Army, and has been awarded millions for her suffering.

Elizabeth Ann Clark won her libel case against U.S. Army Maj. Adam Clark and Lt. Col. Kimberly Rae Barrett on Monday, The Fayetteville Observer reports.

It appears to mark the first ever revenge porn lawsuit to reach a jury verdict in the state.

Elizabeth’s suit alleged that Adam, who she married in 2010, began having an affair in 2016 with Barrett. They were stationed at Fort Bragg.

During the affair, Elizabeth said her husband posted a topless photo her to Facebook and to the Kik app. He also allegedly posted a photo of her in her underwear that she took during a weight loss diet.

Additionally, Elizabeth said her now ex-husband spread lies about her, including that she has herpes and an eating disorder.

Barrett and Adam’s lawyers attempted to argue that there wasn’t any evidence that the photos hurt Elizabeth.

Adam is also accused of stalking Elizabeth and related misdemeanor charges are pending against him, according to the Associated Press

Barrett is under military investigation for adultery and other allegations, including accessing the medical records belonging to Elizabeth and her two children.

Barrett has been ordered by the jury to pay Elizabeth $1.2 million and Adam Clark will have to pay her $2 million in addition to $10,000 for the revenge porn.

“I did believe I was going to win because I knew what I was telling was the truth,” Elizabeth said after the end of the five-day trial, according to The Fayetteville Observer.

If she receives the money, she said it will be used to take care of her children.
