An exotic dancer in Florida has been arrested after allegedly writing about a vision she had of committing a mass shooting in a crowded place.

Brien Basarich, 31, has been charged with making a written threat to kill or injure after Lakeland Police were notified of the messages posted on Tumblr under the user name “taking-lives,” according to The Bradenton Herald, a local Florida newspaper.

“I had a vision … of a very public place, only one way in and one way out. Preferably a bar/club on a busy night,” she allegedly wrote in one of the posts. “2019 has a lot in store if my plans go according!”

Basarich went on to detail her feelings after another user asked her whether she had ever had homicidal urges.

“I feel at times a lot of us have urges, whether they will admit or not is the question. So yes, I have,” she wrote.

She also reportedly said she planned to get an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle “soonish” and was “pretty excited.” She also planned to get more guns in the future, according to The Ledger, another local newspaper. Basarich's Tumblr account has since been taken down.

Basarich allegedly told police she was a “fan of serial killers and mass murderers” when she was confronted about the posts. She also reported being a fan of true crime, according to ABC Action News.

The 31-year-old, who works at Showgirls Men’s Club in Plant City, Florida, was arrested at her home on January 2, The Ledger reports.

She was charged and brought to the Polk County jail, where she was later released on a $5,000 bond, according to WFLA.
