Florida Woman Allegedly Attacks Boyfriend After Post-Thanksgiving Sex Rejection

Rebecca Lynn Phelps allegedly became violent when she tried to grope her way into some post-holiday action — and it's reportedly not the first time this has happened.

Thanksgiving: It’s a time to give thanks for what you have, not to resort to violence over what you do not.

This is apparently not the case for one Florida woman, who allegedly beat up her boyfriend after he rejected her sexual advances on the night of the holiday as she tried to grope her way to some extra dessert.

Rebecca Lynn Phelps, 31, went into a bedroom where her boyfriend was sleeping to allegedly seek out sex. After she is said to have “grabbed his genitals wanting to have sex…[the] victim said no and went back to sleep,” according to an arrest report.

Phelps, however, reportedly didn’t take too kindly to the rejection. She allegedly “scratched the victim on his left eye causing it to swell and turn black and blue,” though has denied doing so, according to the report.

Phelps was arrested for domestic battery in connection with the incident. She has since been released on Sunday after posting a $100 bond.

Phelps has been ordered by a judge not to have any contact with the victim. It’s not clear if she has a lawyer who can speak on her behalf at this time.

It’s not the first time Phelps was arrested for allegedly beating a man after being romantically rejected.

In 2017, she was arrested on similar allegations, according to a report obtained by The Smoking Gun. In that incident, she allegedly “smacked [a victim] so hard on the right side of his face it left redness.”

It’s not clear if the same person who was allegedly attacked in 2017 was the same man attacked on Thanksgiving.
