The "Melrose Place" actress was at home when her lawyer and therapist realized that she was having a breakdown, according to multiple outlets.

Heather Locklear was taken to the hospital and placed on psychiatric hold over the weekend, according to multiple reports.

Locklear is said to have had what’s been described as a mental breakdown on Sunday while at home with her lawyer and therapist, prompting someone in the home to call 911, TMZ reports.

Upon first responders’ arrival, Locklear was transported to a hospital, according to the outlet.

A source close to the 57-year-old actress confirmed reports of Locklear’s hospitalization to Fox News.

“Yesterday, Heather was at her home with her therapist and lawyer and she simply had a mental breakdown,” the anonymous source told Fox News. “EMTs were called to her home and it was a medical call, not a criminal call. The call was simply a mental health precaution and Heather’s family and friends will continue to support her road to achieving a positive mental health state.”

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Department also confirmed that authorities responded to a call made from Locklear’s home, telling Page Six, “Deputies responded to a medical call at Ms. Locklear’s residence yesterday afternoon. There was no crime, and we have no additional information to release.”

The “Melrose Place” star has been arrested numerous times this year. An EMT who responded to a 911 call made from Locklear’s home earlier this year recently filed a lawsuit against the actress, claiming that Locklear not only injured her, but subjected her to verbal abuse as well, according to TMZ.

The EMT, a single mother of three named Jennifer Hayn-Hiton, alleged in her suit that Locklear said that she hoped her children contracted AIDS and died, according to the outlet.

Locklear’s alleged fight with the EMT is one of many such incidents Locklear has been involved in this year.

She was hospitalized and subjected to a psychiatric evaluation in June, after her parents called 911 to report that she was threatening to kill herself.

Days later, she was arrested for misdemeanor battery after allegedly punching a cop who’d responded to a 911 call a member of Locklear’s family made because she was drinking heavily and acting aggressively.
