Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino may be stuck behind bars for the time being, but his "Jersey Shore" co-stars haven’t forgotten him.

Cast members from the hit reality series recently convened to pay Sorrentino a visit, judging from an Instagram update from Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Sorrentino. The photo, posted to her account Tuesday, shows her posing with Sorrentino, as well as four of “Jersey Shore’s" most memorable personalities: Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Jenni “JWoww” Farley, Deena Cortese, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi.

“#FreeSitch,” Lauren wrote in the caption after the heart and prayer hands emoji.

Sorrentino began serving an eight-month prison sentence at the Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York in January, having pleaded guilty to one count of tax evasion after allegedly dodging taxes on nearly $9 million of income.

The reality TV star live-streamed his trip to prison earlier this year, telling his followers on the car ride there, “I’m just gonna handle this and put this behind me and move forward.”

However, recent reports suggest that prison life hasn’t been all that bad for Sorrentino. Speaking to E! News, Polizzi said last month he’s having “the time of his life” while locked up.

“It’s like he’s in a senior home. He’s playing Bingo, he’s helping people recover in jail,” she said, referring to Sorrentino’s experiences recovering from prescription drug addiction and becoming sober.

He’s also “in the gym a lot,” she said.

And while Sorrentino may be without his “Jersey Shore” chums while he serves his time, his co-stars have reported that he’s locked up with at least one other famous face: notorious Fyre Festival con man Billy McFarland.
