Woman Caught On Video Choking Out Nightclub Bouncer After Wrongly Accusing Him Of Groping Her

Surveillance footage from a nightclub in Upstate New York shows a petite woman choking out a nightclub bouncer after she wrongly alleged that she groped her bottom while dancing.

The Plattsburgh Police Department released the footage which captured the very moment that Kierah Lagrave, 22, attacked the much-taller bouncer from behind at Five1Eight Nightclub on Oct. 20.

The video also proves that a female friend of the attacker hit her rear-end — not the bouncer. He unfortunately happened to be passing behind Lagrave and her friend at the moment.

Lagrave, who is 5-foot-1 and weighs 125 pounds, according to the New York Post, managed to get her hands around the bouncer's neck despite her friend’s attempt at thwarting her attack.The victim ended up unconscious on the floor as a result of the fracas.

Still, most of the other clubgoers seemed to have noticed nothing unusual and continued dancing the night away despite being so close to this vaguely David vs. Goliath-like situation.

After the bouncer reported the attack, Lagrave was last week arrested and charged with second-degree strangulation. She has since been released on her own recognizance, according to the Plattsburgh Press-Republican.

“The surveillance video clearly shows that Lagrave’s friend slapped her on the buttocks," Plattsburgh Police Chief Levi Ritter told the Press-Republican.

Before the footage was released, Lagrave accused the bouncer of sexually assaulting her. Further, she told local outlet WCAX-TV that she was on the receiving end of death threats and was being "portrayed as a liar after being a victim to sexual assault."
