During a bizarre series of videos posted on Instagram over the weekend, actress Lindsay Lohan apparently was hit in the face after following a Syrian family and accusing the presumed parents of trafficking their own children.

The 32-year-old actress was in Moscow, Russia when she began livestreaming the encounter, according to TMZ. In the videos, she can be seen following a couple and their children down the street, accusing them of “taking” the children and making a number of comments to and about them both in English and, according to TMZ, Arabic. After Lohan tried to grab one of the boys, the woman — presumably the child’s mother — seemingly hit Lohan in the face, causing her to fall to the ground.

Lohan broadcasted the experience in a strange series of dimly lit videos posted on her Instagram story. She began by getting out of a car and walking onto the street, announcing to her viewers, “Hey everyone, um, I just want to show you a family that I met, a Syrian refugee family. I’m going to introduce you to them, and they really need help.”

“Tell me your story so I can help you,” Lohan said to what looked to be a homeless family sitting on blankets outside of a building. In the next scene, the family can be seen trying to walk away from the actress, but Lohan proceeded to follow them as they walked down several dark streets.

“They’re trafficking children,” Lohan said. She said later, adopting a hard-to-place accent, “I won’t leave until I take you. Now I know who you are. Don’t f--k with me.”

The group continued to ignore Lohan as she followed closely behind them while offering continuous, somewhat slurred commentary.

“You’re ruining Arabic culture by doing this. You’re taking these children, they want to go,” she said. She then addressed the children, saying, “I’m with you, I’m with you, boys, don’t worry. The whole world is seeing this right now.”

“Give me your hand,” Lohan said later and, judging by the angle of the video, attempted to reach for one of the children. A brief commotion can be heard, followed by what sounds like Lohan getting punched. She and her camera were both knocked off balance.

The video cut off briefly before Lohan returned, standing upright again.

“I’m like, in shock right now,” she said, in tears and holding the side of her face where she was presumably hit.

The videos were later deleted from Lohan’s Instagram. She has yet to comment publicly on what happened.
