An amorous janitor and his teenage paramour were busted after getting caught in a mid-morning romp in the stairwell of a Louisiana courthouse, according to police.
Miguel Camille Glorioso, 20, and Jamie Lee Coutee, 19, were each charged Wednesday with obscenity after an employee at the Rapides Parish Courthouse in Alexandria, LA, interrupted them mid-coitus, according to a statement from the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s office.
The ruckus began just after 10:20 a.m. July 11, when a security guard heard a “commotion” in a fifth-floor stairwell and went to investigate, police said. When the witness poked their head into the stairwell, they spotted Coutee and Glorioso in the middle of doing the deed, taking the couple by surprise and prompting them to “gather themselves” and flee, according to police.
The guard recognized Glorioso as a “trustee” assigned to clean the courthouse, and authorities promptly tracked him down and arrested him, according to the sheriff’s office. Police later located Coutee in town at about 8 p.m. Wednesday night and cuffed her as well. She grinned and appeared elated in her mugshot.
Coutee was later released on $1,500 bond, and Glorioso, who was removed from his post as a cleaner, was initially held without bond, police said.
Contact information for lawyers for the pair was not immediately available.
Both Glorioso and Coutee are no strangers to courthouses.
Glorioso has pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled dangerous substance, twice. In 2016, he pleaded guilty and was placed on probation but those charged were later dropped, according to 4WWL-TV in New Orleans. In April, he was sentenced to eight years in prison of hard labor. Part of that labor involved being a janitor for the courthouse, but it wasn't supposed to include having sex. Meanwhile, Coutee has an August pretrial date on a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge on her agenda.
