Man In Custody After Model Mom's Body Found Decapitated And Stuffed Into 2 Suitcases

Sarah Zghoul's suspected killer yelled "help me" from a ravine before her remains were found inside the trunk of a BMW.

The dismembered body of a model was discovered stuffed inside two suitcases and placed in the trunk of a luxury BMW car in Oregon on Thursday night. Sarah Zghoul, 28, of Aloha, Oregon was an actor, model and the mother of a young son.

The man accused of taking her life tried to slash his own throat and wrists before police arrested him on Thursday, according to Oregon Live. Earlier that evening, The Washington County Sheriff's Office said they were tipped off that there was a possible murder.

According to KOIN, a family heard a man screaming “help me” on Thursday night. The family went outside to try to help, where they found the silhouette of a man down in a ravine.

"We couldn't see him," Michael Larsen told KOIN, "but we could hear him."

Larson said the man wouldn’t respond to questions. Instead, he kept repeating the words ‘help me.’

"Something just wasn't right. Yeah, it was very odd."

Larsen’s wife wanted to go to the ravine to help but Larsen wouldn’t let her. His intuition may have been right: the man was the suspected killer, who had suffered a self-inflicted wound. Soon, the area was covered in police officers who found the slain Zghoul. The body parts found inside the black BMW were identified as belonging to Zghoul a day later. The suspected killer is in custody and his name hasn’t yet been released.

Natasha Thomas, a friend of Zghoul, posted a short tribute to the slain woman on Twitter.

"Sara was funny, kind and a great mother," she wrote. "She was the kind of person to give you the shirt off her back. Even in rough times, she was grateful."

A GoFundMe page has been started to help Zghoul's son.
