Woman Vanishes After Last Being Seen Talking To Man Who Was Thrown Out Of Boston Bar

UPDATE: Police have confirmed Olivia Ambrose, 23, has been found alive in the Charleston area on Tuesday, two days after she was last seen leaving a bar.

A Massachusetts woman who was last seen chatting with a man outside a Boston bar on Saturday has vanished.

Olivia Ambrose, 23, had gone to Hennessy’s Bar with her twin sister Francesca and a group of friends, her sister told MassLive.com. The siblings were out dancing but at some point got separated.

The siblings' friend Kate Collins said that Ambrose was last seen around 10 p.m.

“We were all dancing in front of the stage, nothing out of the ordinary,” Collins told MassLive. “There were a lot of other friends.”

At some point, Ambrose went outside with a man who had been escorted out of the bar by a bouncer, her sister told MassLive. Surveillance footage shows her talking to the man outside the bar. It's the last time she has been seen.

A Facebook page called “Missing Person: Help Find Olivia ‘Liviy’ Ambrose” claims police have questioned that man. He has not been publicly identified and police have not named any persons of interest.

Ambrose works for a software company, Boston 25 News reports. She only recently moved back to the area after spending some time in Europe. Her sister told the outlet that it’s out of character for her twin to fall out of contact.

"Generally if she's not doing anything on the weekends she'll FaceTime me even though we live in the same city," she told Boston 25. "But yeah, we'll just sit on FaceTime and won't even really be talking we'll be watching our own Netflix shows or something. ... We just keep in contact."

She stands at about 5’2” and she has blue eyes and curly brown hair. She was last seen wearing a red corduroy dress under a long white and grey coat, according to the Boston Police Department. Anyone with information is urged to contact 911 or the department’s detectives at (617) 343-4248.
