The 27-year-old rapper’s arraignment had beenscheduled for Thursday morning, but he was taken into custody beforehand after failing the screening, Pitchfork reports.

Young Thug, born Jeffery Lamar Williams, was booked at the DeKalb County Sheriffs’ Office in Georgia at around 11 a.m. on Thursday on a charge of possession of a firearm, in addition to a slew of drug charges, including possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, and hydrocodone, according to the sheriff’s office online records. Authorities have also revoked his bond, according to Pitchfork.

Young Thug's arraignment was in relation to a 2017 case in which police pulled him over last September for having tinted windows and ultimately arrested him for possessing a firearm as well as a variety of drugs, Billboard reports. The "Best Friend" rapper was later charged with eight felonies: possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone, and weed, possession of amphetamine and Alprazolam, two counts of possession of codeine, and one count of possession of a firearm, according to TMZ.

Authorities issued a warrant for Young Thug’s arrest in September, prompting him to surrender to police at the DeKalb County Sheriffs’ Office. He remained in police custody for a short time before bring released on bond, Pitchfork reports.

Young Thug was also arrested in August, after police stormed the rapper’s birthday party and took him into custody — briefly — on suspicion of possession of a concealed firearm in a vehicle.
