Oxygen's Date With Death Event Starts February 11th

Valentine's Day is all about celebrating love: love for your partner, love for your friends, love for your family, love for ... your favorite genre of TV, true crime?

This Valentine's Day, skip the rose deliveries and fancy dinners and instead join Oxygen for a Date with Death, a four-night Valentine's Day weekend event beginning Thursday, Feb. 11 through Sunday, Feb. 14. Included in the special event is the two-night series premiere of "Lovers' Lane Murders," as well as brand-new episodes of shows like "An Unexpected Killer," Killer Motive," One Deadly Mistake, Snapped: Behind Bars," and Exhumed," all dealing with love.

Here's what you can expect and when:

"Lovers' Lane Murders" on Thursday, Feb. 11 at 9/8c and 10/9c and Friday, Feb. 12 at 9/8c and 10/9c

Loverslane

In the premiere episode, after U.S. Naval Academy graduate Cathy Thomas and her girlfriend Becky Dowski are murdered in a lovers’ lane area on the Colonial Parkway in Virginia, authorities are left to wonder if this is a hate crime or the birth of something even more ominous.

In the following episode, with Cathy Thomas and Becky Dowski’s Colonial Parkway homicide still unsolved, a new double murder less than a year later leaves law enforcement rattled. Is the slaying of David Knobling and Robin Edwards in another lovers’ lane area connected?

In the third episode airing Friday, an entire region is on edge after college students Cassandra Hailey and Keith Call go missing from a lovers’ lane area in Northern Virginia. Is this third double homicide on the Colonial Parkway an unnerving coincidence or proof of a serial killer?

In the concluding episode, when Annamaria Phelps and Daniel Lauer turn up dead in a lovers’ lane area close to the Colonial Parkway in northern Virginia, many in law enforcement are convinced that this fourth double homicide in three years proves the work of a serial killer.
