Dr. Phil McGraw has hosted a plethora of convicted killers on his daytime talk show. So it only makes sense that his new true crime podcast dives deeper into conversing with killers.

"I'll take you inside the minds of some of the world's most notorious killers, analyzing them from both a psychological and behavioral perspective,” McGraw, who has experience as both a a clinical and forensic psychologist, promises in a new audio trailer which promotes the podcast.

The new podcast, "Analysis of Murder," which premieres April 25 on Stitcher, will kick off with an exclusive interview with Gypsy Rose Blanchard in an episode called “The Killer Thorn of Gypsy Rose.”

Blanchard’s mother Claudine "Dee Dee" Blanchard, is believed to have pretended her daughter had everything from leukemia to muscular dystrophy to developmental issues and she allegedly forced Gypsy to go along with the scam, making her endure multiple surgeries and consume unneeded medications —  a condition known as Munchausen by proxy.

This alleged abuse went on until Gypsy helped orchestrate her mother’s murder: she asked her online boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, to kill her and he did. He stabbed Dee Dee to death in 2015. He was sentenced in February to life in prison after being convicted of first-degree murder. Gypsy was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to second-degree murder in 2016 for her role in orchestrating the attack.

McGraw will chat with Blanchard about the events which inspired the recent Hulu series “The Act.”

“Ultimately I never wanted her dead,” Gypsy tells him in a teaser released Thursday. “I just wanted that life to be dead.”

Gypsy has made several appearances on the show over the years, including as recently as April.

McGraw frequently interviews both high-profile killers and victims’ families. He recently aired a multi-episode special with Shanann Watts’ family. They spoke candidly about a their son-in-law Chris Watts murdering his pregnant wife Shanann and their daughters, 4-year-old Bella and 3-year-old Celeste before telling a series of horrific lies (including that Shanann killed their children), only to later confess to killing his family with his bare hands.

A few years ago McGraw spoke exclusively to convicted killer Erin Caffey who is serving two life sentences for killing her mom and brothers. He also aired a disturbing interview with Zachary Davis who admitted to McGraw that he killed his own mother Melanie with a sledgehammer.
