Maria Menounos

At 35, Maria Menounos has achieved more than most at her age. She currently hosts “Extra” and her digital talk series, “Conversations with Maria,” and runs her online broadcast network, AfterBuzz TV. This nontraditional Hollywood girl values her family above all and came from humble beginnings. As a first-generation Greek American, she held her first job as a janitor cleaning nightclubs. Maria double-majored in broadcast journalism and film at Boston's Emerson College, and has been working hard and breaking milestones ever since. At 22 years-old, she became the youngest person ever to host "Entertainment Tonight," and was among the youngest to host “Today Show” and “Nightly News with Brian Williams.”  She has interviewed Presidents Bush and Clinton before she was 24 and is also the first and only person to interview the entire Obama family. Beyond hard news and entertainment reporting, Maria is the only person in Hollywood history to star in a movie and report for network news.  She's acted in multiple TV shows, most recently “The Mindy Project” and made it to the semi-finals of “Dancing with the Stars.” She also wrestles professionally for the WWE, including competing at Wrestlemania. Maria founded the charity "Take Action Hollywood", an organization dedicated to using the medium of film and the power of Hollywood to raise social awareness, and is the author of the New York Times best seller "The EveryGirl’s Guide to Life," and her second book, “The EveryGirl's Guide to Diet and Fitness" is slated for release in April 2014.
