As "The Face" model mentor Karolina Kurkova astutely observed: "All the models that are emerging have personality." Coco Rocha has all that, and more. Her infectious charisma and killer sense of humor come through in her inspired poses for countless fashion campaigns, from Banana Republic to Dolce & Gabbana. Her trick of the trade: Major dance moves (so major that sometimes two Cocos are in order). Those skills are on display in her latest gig for the expansion of Yorkdale Shopping Centre.
The recently released video shows backstage and studio footage from the marketing campaign. Busting some serious moves in an array of designer outfits, Coco somehow makes a pen, an iPhone and a wool cap all seem exuberantly sexy.
"As a Canadian I’m very happy to be a part of such a big moment for Toronto fashion!" the talented model exclaimed on her Tumblr.
We're just excited to see Coco groovin' again. Maybe the catwalker can incoporate her signature skill set into "The Face." Suggestions: A model dance elimination competition (maybe Rodarte or Valentino Garavini would consider desiging the costumes?). Or better yet, Coco, Karolina and Naomi can settle the score once and for all with a Supermodel Dance Off.
