How has winning The Face affected your life and career?
My life has completely changed since The Face. I'm traveling doing meet-and-greets in Ulta stores, meeting so many different people, having so many different opportunities come my way. It honestly has been a blessing. Dealing with things after the show is the easiest part. This is the fun part…it's still work but it’s fun. I'm just enjoying it. The cherry on top is the fact that my daughter can be a part of it as well.
What else have you been up to, any other kinds of work or hobbies?
I think any mother would agree with me when I say being a mom is the most important, time-consuming, and entertaining hobby that anyone can have! I've also enjoyed public speaking. I have worked with the National Urban Leagues, Inwood House, Smile Train and many more organizations. It's been so inspiring to achieve what I have as a model but also be know for more that being a model, to be known for me.
What advice would you give to the Season 2 girls?
Be you and love you. People will see and respect that no matter what. This competition is only the beginning of things. Be the competition, and don't fall into it. Remember that no matter what happens, 10% of every situation is the situation that you’re in, and 90% of that situation is how you react to it.
