Shanice and Bradley: Still Going Strong

By Lauren Zupkus

On last night's episode of Too Young to Marry? we watched as Mississippi couple Shanice and Bradley walked down the aisle, exchanged vows, and said their tearful "I Do"s. Though the wedding was undoubtedly one of the best moments of their young lives, it definitely did not go over smoothly. When Bradley's mother and sister crashed the wedding uninvited and insisted that the wedding was invalid, Shanice was reduced to tears and the two women had to be forcefully escorted out. We caught up with Shanice to see how the newlyweds are now. Scroll through the gallery of the adorable couple, and read below to hear all about Shanice's relationship with Bradley's family today and more.

What is your relationship status with Bradley today?

I am happily married to Mr. Bradley Floore and we live together in our apartment at The University of Southern Mississippi.

How is your relationship with your mother now? What about your relationship with Bradley’s family?

My relationship with my mother is great. I believe that she finally accepts the fact that I am not her little baby anymore and that I am married. She does call me three to five times a week (sometimes everyday), but that just reassures me that she still loves me and supports me. I have not talked to Bradley's mother or sister since the wedding, and it is probably going to stay that way unless something miraculous changes. I talk and visit with Bradley's grandparents everytime we go home, so we have a good relationship.

Are you still enrolled in college? What are you up to now?

I am still a student at The University of Southern Mississippi and I am currently a junior. I am heavily involved in multiple organizations on campus, so that keeps me busy. I also work at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Hattiesburg full-time as a front desk clerk. Full-time student, worker, and wife...and I enjoy every second of it.

Tune into 'Too Young to Marry?' Wednesday at 10/9c.
