A new Lifetime movie depicts a suburban mom who appears to have it all but in reality, her world is about to come crashing down.

“One Tree Hill” star Jana Kramer plays Anna Gristina in “Soccer Mom Madam,” a woman who ran a high-end New York escort service. In the movie, Gristina falls on hard times and moves in with her cousin who introduces her to the escort service ropes. While she starts out working as a receptionist, she soon branches out to start her own escort service. Soon, she is raking in the big bucks by targeting millionaire and celebrity clients.

But, it all came crumbling down for the real-life Gristina after her brothel empire was exposed. She was arrested in 2012 while living a comfortable life in the New York suburbs of Monroe with her husband and four children. Following her arrest, prosecutors described her service as a multimillion-dollar operation catering to some of the richest men, the New York Post reported in 2015.

Gristina who became known as the "Soccer Mom Madam" as the Lifetime movie title suggests pleaded guilty to promoting prostitution in 2012 and was sentenced to time served, NBC News reported at the time. Before that, she spent four months at Rikers Island before her bail was lowered and she bonded out, the New York Times reported in 2012, as she refused to divulge the names of her clients to authorities.

In 2015, Orange County Probation filed a violation against Gristina after an undated photo that seemingly showed her holding a gun surfaced, the New York Post reported in 2015. However, a judge later dismissed the violation petition.

These days, Gristina is still living on the same Monroe property she owned when she was arrested, along with her husband and their adopted pigs, the Times Herald-Record reports. She spent her spare time writing children's book under a pen name. She is also working on a social media-related, child-directed website, according to the outlet.

She also consulted with the scriptwriters for the new Lifetime movie.

“I have a beautiful life now,” Gristina told the Herald-Record. “I just want peace. I just want to move on.”
