With Milo Yiannopoulos at the helm, the alt-right has been getting mainstream media coverage — despite their ridiculous and radically hateful politics. Hillary Clinton herself even decried the anti-feminist and white-supremacist movement in a powerful speech that warned of the dangers of these extremist views. Now, one news anchor has had enough of Yiannopoulos' bullsh*t and decided to call a spade a spade in an interview on Nightline. "Are you a 13-year-old?" asked Terry Moran of the belligerent gay conservative.
Specifically inquiring about the Leslie Jones incident, Moran went in on the dubious morality of internet trolling and questioned the bullying tactics that Yiannopoulos frequently employs.
“You’re going to go after somebody’s body to denigrate their ideas?” asked a shocked Moran. “What grade are you in? Seriously."
"You’re an idiot, really,” Moran elsewhere replied to a comment Yiannopoulos made about Jones' appearance.
Moran's zero tolerance approach evoked this ludicrous rant from Milo, who claimed that the body positivity movement is the real villain here: “What’s revolting is this idea now that you can tell women they’ll be happy and healthy at any size," Yiannopoulos said. "Why? Because it tells women that you can be fat and you can be unattractive and you can be happy anyway. That’s a lie.”
The interview is currently labeled "Part 1" so we can expect more of this dumpster fire coming our way in the near future.
