Blac Chyna may be headed for even more drama.
A photo agency called FameFlynet is going after Chyna, whose real name is Angela White, for posting one of their photos without their authorization. The pic in question, which shows Chyna, Rob, and her son King Cairo out and about in Calabasas, was licensed and then posted by several media outlets in December of last year. According to The Wrap, the suit alleges that either Chyna or someone on her team reposted the photo from one of the outlets that legitimately own it, and removed the copyright info from the pic in the process. They're claiming that Chyna's use of the image on her social media page harms "the existing and future market for the original Photograph."
"The Photograph is highly creative, distinctive, and valuable," reads the suit. "Because of White's celebrity status, and the Photograph's quality and visual appeal, plaintiff (and the photographer it represents) stood to gain licensing revenue from licensing the Photograph."
FameFlynet alleges that, considering how often the reality TV star uses her Instagram page for promotional purposes, her use of their image was "commercial in nature."
The agency has already filed an injunction preventing Chyna from further copying and displaying the image and is seeking unspecified damages. As for Chyna, she has since deleted the offending pic.
