Drizzy to the rescue?
Drake's currently on the European leg of his world tour, and while in Manchester, England over the weekend, offered to help police calm a suicidal man.
According to the Manchester Evening News, authorities had no choice but to block off roads on Saturday morning after the unidentified man threatened to jump off of a bridge. Drake was caught in the ensuing traffic jam and reportedly offered to help the police.
"One officer was approached by a male from a tour van caught up in the traffic congestion, claiming to be part of Drake's entourage," Phil Spurgeon of the City Centre Integrated Neighborhood Policing Team said in an interview with the Manchester Evening News. "He offered for Drake to speak to the male on the bridge, if that would help. The offer was declined with thanks."
Fortunately, the authorities were able to de-escalate the situation and the man was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Drake ultimately didn't get directly involved, but good for him for trying to lend a hand, anyway.
