Digital dating is here to stay. If the thought of swiping for love on Tinder is scary, experts say that the future of dating is truly terrifying.
According to Digital Trends, virtual and augmented reality are expected to play a significant role in dates to come. Jonathan Badeen, Tinder co-founder and chief strategy officer, says "In maybe two or five years’ time, I think it’s going to become a real interesting thing. It’s personal on a different side of things. I think that it will end up playing a large role."
DNA may also decide matches in the future. You have a "type" but is that person really compatible with your genes? Maybe the six-foot-tall hunk is not the person your ancestors wanted you to hook up with. Some experts cite that DNA analysis, which is becoming more affordable, could have the "potential to unlock the innate laws of attraction" and help decide the perfect match.
