Is Drake Throwing Subtle Shade At J.Lo On His New Album 'More Life'?

Twitter says yes.

Drake always puts his real life into his music, so it's no surprise that he gives love to Jennifer Lopez on his new album More Life... but is there shade, too? The rapper debuted the project—which he refers to as a playlist—on Saturday and he gets very real about drunk texting his famous flame.

"I drunk text J. Lo / Old numbers so I bounce back / Boi-1da gotta bounce back," he raps on "Free Smoke."  Ouch. Elsewhere on "Teenage Fever," he samples J. Lo's breakout hit, "If You Had My Love." On the song, he raps about heartbreak: “Your heart is hard to carry after dark / You’re to blame for what we could have been / ‘Cause look at what we are.”

And, that's not all. Many have speculated that the latter two were done, only after he removed J.Lo from that Black Coffee remake of "Superman," which is basically remade with the same beat and lyrics into his song "Get It Together." But unlike that video shoot/prom that everyone was confused about - J.Lo is no longer anywhere to be heard on the track.

Fans took to social media to react to Drake airing out his emo feelings:

J. Lo has been pretty sly about her short-lived romance with Drake. The superstar has reportedly moved on with baseball star Alex Rodriguez. No wonder the drunk text bounced.
