Early this morning, Janet Jackson released a video to all of her fans via her Facebook page announcing the postponement of her Unbreakable World Tour. What's so unusual about it is her obvious glow and excitement over the news (which is definitely a welcomed turnaround from the last postponement, which was due to an injury in December). She goes on to cite the plans she and her husband Wissam Al Mana have, as the reason.
"Hey, you guys. On August 31st (as you probably know) I launched the Unbreakable World Tour," the pop icon began at the start of the video. "First, I just want to thank all the fans for coming out to see the show... We're in the second leg of the tour and there actually has been a sudden change. I thought it was important that you would be the first to know," she continued, followed by a large inhale.
"My husband and I are planning our family, so I'm going to have to delay the tour," she said, beaming. "Please if you can try and understand that it's important that I do this now. I have to rest up-- doctor's orders. But I have not forgotten about you," she reassured. "I will continue the tour as soon as I possibly can. I want to thank the dancers, the band, my entire crew... I can't wait for us to get started again."
She had more words of gratitude for the support from her team and her fans before ending with the Arabic saying, "Inshallah," meaning, "if God allows it."
We send all the love and support to the happy couple and can't wait to meet the mini Janet or Michael... maybe we'll even get twins and be blessed with both? Oh, the beautiful world!
