Jay Z Has Finally Responded To 'Lemonade'

And it's in musical form, of course.

Ever since Lemonade dropped and Beyonce shocked the world by revealing that she and husband Jay Z have marital problems just like everyone else, the world has been waiting for Jay to publicly respond.

Why did he cheat on Beyonce? How does he feel about his wife's new album? And for the love of all things good, who is Becky?

Well, the man of the hour has finally responded, and though it's not the joint album we were hoping for, his response did still come in musical form, E! News reports.

Fat Joe & Remy Ma's newest song, "All the Way Up (Remix)", just dropped via Tidal, and Jay's feature on the song references his wife's iconic album.

"You know you made it when the fact your marriage made it is worth millions," Jay raps. "Lemonade is a popular drink and it still is/Survival of the littlest."

He also threw in a shout-out to Prince, which some are interpreting to be a reference to the elevator showdown between him and his sister-in-law Solange.

"Prince left his masters where they safe and sound/We never gonna let the elevator take him down," he raps.

What do you think? Obvious Prince reference, or a sly nod to the elevator fight?

And now, time for a couple of Twitter reactions.
