He has a few choice words for a certain news outlet, too.

Jesse Williams has responded to the petition to get him fired from Grey's Anatomy following his BET Awards speech. "Not a single sane sentence in their claim. NotOne," he tweeted yesterday.

The actor also blasted media outlet The Wrap for saying that the petition had quadrupled in signatures. "Because you keep incessantly promoting their cowardly intolerance!" he tweeted.

The petition's creator claims that Jesse's passionate speech about #BlackLivesMatter was racist and controversial. "Jesse Williams spewed a racist, hate speech against law enforcement and white people at the BET awards," it reads. "If this was a white person making the same speech about an African American, they would have been fired and globally chastised, as they should be, but there has been no consequences to Williams' actions."

Fans of Jesse's portrayal of Dr. Jackson Avery have created their own petition to save him, and Grey's Anatomy creator Shonda Rimes has also tweeted her full support for him. He's not going anywhere.
