Kim has long been vocal about her disapproval of Caitlyn's memoir Secrets of My Life, telling Ellen DeGeneres earlier this year that she doesn't "respect the character that [Caitlyn's] showing right now." Caitlyn later said that she and Kim haven't spoken in months, and in a sneak peek of the upcoming Keeping Up With The Kardashians season premiere, it looks like viewers will find out why.
While hanging out with her sisters, Kim receives a news alert about Caitlyn's then-unreleased book, specifically concerning Caitlyn's claims that the late Robert Kardashian knew that O.J. Simpson was guilty but defended him anyway.
"Dad so believed in him," Kim says, adding, "It is so shady that Caitlyn came over and gave me the book, and then on the phone she said, 'Well, the final version has a few more things in it, but don't worry, it's nothing about you.' So she lied to me, because that is about me, if it's about our dad."
In a confessional, Kim reveals that Caitlyn's comments about her father were the last straw.
"My relationship with Caitlyn was strained. I just was trying to be respectful," she explains, adding, "But if you talk about my dad, I will cut you."
"I have always had Caitlyn's back," Kim tells her sisters. "But she is a liar. She is not a good person."
