If there's one thing Kim Kardashian doesn't joke around about, it's her children.
The reality TV star recently opened up about her youngest child, 2-year-old Saint West, getting hospitalized for pneumonia at the end of the year. In a lengthy Instagram caption, Kim spoke candidly about the experience, calling it "so scary" but thanking the doctors and nurses for making sure her little one was well taken care of.
Fortunately, Saint has since been discharged and is doing great, but that didn't stop some online from theorizing that Kim abandoned her mommy duties to party on New Year's Eve while her son was hospitalized. Kim wasn't having any of it, though, and responded to the rumors on Twitter earlier this week.
"I haven't heard this BUT lets get this straight. I did not leave my son for one minute during his hospital stay," Kim wrote, responding to a fan who defended her from critics.
"We were [at the hospital] Wednesday night to Saturday. NYE WAS SUNDAY NIGHT. People came over when he was already asleep for the night!" she continued. "Don't even try me when it comes to my kids."
Celeb moms getting shamed online isn't anything new, unfortunately. Last year, Kim, Beyonce, Ciara, and Chrissy Teigen were all slammed online for their parenting choices. Let's hope this is one trend that's been left behind in 2017.
